Trust & safety

How we verify providers

Every profile is created by the provider. Two labels show you exactly what we have checked, so you are never left guessing.

Labels

Three levels of trust, clearly labelled

Listed

Provider-supplied

The practice created the profile. We have not checked anything yet.

Email confirmed

The inbox is theirs

The provider clicked a link sent to their email, proving they control that address. This does not verify qualifications.

Credentials verified

Licence checked

We matched the licence number against the public register of the licensing authority, including name and profession.

Process

What happens when a provider joins

  1. 1

    The provider applies

They fill in their credentials, practice, treatments and licence details. Licence details stay private.

  2. 2

    Email confirmation

We send a confirmation link. The public profile page is only created once it is clicked.

  3. 3

    Licence review

A team member compares the licence number, name and profession with the licensing authority's public register.

  4. 4

    Label applied

Matching profiles receive the Credentials verified label. Others keep Email confirmed.

  5. 5

    Ongoing checks

We act on reports and re-check profiles when information changes.

What we check

  • The licence number exists on the public register
  • The name and profession match the profile
  • The licence is active, where the register shows it
  • The practice location is plausible for the licence

What we do not check

  • Clinical skill or treatment outcomes
  • Complaint history beyond the public register
  • Claims written in a provider's bio
  • Prices, offers or availability

Your part

What you should still do

A label is a starting point, not a guarantee. Before you book:

  • Check the licence with your state, provincial or national regulator
  • Ask about training in facial anatomy and injectables
  • Ask which products they use and where they are sourced
  • Ask how complications are handled and who to call afterwards

FAQ

Common questions

Does a label mean a provider is recommended?

No. Labels describe what we checked, not how good a provider is. A listing is never an endorsement.

Why do some profiles have no credentials label?

Verification is optional and takes a little time. Profiles without the label have not had their licence checked by us yet.

Is my licence number shown publicly?

Never. It is used only for the check and is not displayed on your profile.

How do I get verified?

Create a free profile, confirm your email and supply your licence details. We review submissions in the order they arrive.

See something wrong?

If a listing is inaccurate or a provider should not be listed, tell us and we will review it promptly.
